Please contact the owner because Hoban wok nene in ctanford, nj is a rip off never going there again tell them to put more beef on the stick 4 pieces not 2 pieces for 7.50 and more meat on th entries I’m never coming again until it’s back to the original way again I am disappointed.

I usually dont bother to do reviews. So then why the hell would I do a review for some random Chinese takeout place?WELL....That's because, Hunan Express is amazing. Actually, "amazing" just doesn't cut it. Maybe, "unbelievable" will do this little place justice.Hunan Express' food is fantastic. It smells great. It tastes great. Not restaurant style, but pretty close. You can tell the food is made fresh - the food is not pre-heated, its cooked right in front of you. They use fresh ingredients. Wonton soup, fried chicken wings, black bean pork, the classics are all there in a giant menu.Prices?Hunan's combination platters are $8-10. Hunan Express sports an unreal $4.95 lunch special. $4.95... Seriously? In fact, when I first saw that on the flyer, I thought it was a misprint. $4.95 lunch special? Who does that? Well, Hunan Express does.But the real zinger....Hunan STUFFS your portions. When we got our food, we were stunned. It was heavy - it was stuffed full with food. I'm 6 foot, I'm not a small guy, and I can't eat the entire portions for either the lunch or the dinner specials. These are two meals in one. I have to finish these meals the next day. Yes, its $4.95 for a huge portion of chicken, pork, shrimp, you name it with your choice of soup or eggroll. Unbelievable.And I'm standing there - you would never guess it, you would never bother to walk in, the place is a warzone. Boxes are strewn away everywhere. There are 3 tables randomly placed. The fan on the ceiling just sits there. The kitchen is right behind the counter and it's a disaster. They've clearly just moved in. And the crazy chef is flailing his hands with a smile on his face urging me on to take more sauce packets. But yet, they manage to pump out fantastic food.Hunan offers unbelievable value and quality for the price. I don't think there is a takeout place in a 50 mile radius that offers the value this place does, and I've been around many Chinese takeouts. Hunan absolutely destroys every Chinese food places in East Brunswick, with the exception of Orchid which is more of a refined restaurant. The appearance of this little place may deceive you.But for the price, who cares?You might think this review is over the top, exaggerated. It's not. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. You're looking for a gem? Hunan is the real deal. Just try it yourself. You'll thank me later.
